Python DevOps Engineer

Location: Eindhoven

Job Description:

We are seeking a Python DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about automation, system reliability and developer experience. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure, building internal tools, and streamlining deployment pipelines - all using Python skills to make life easier for everyone around you.

Education and experience:

Bachelor or Master level education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields. Also you are well acquainted with software development.

Role and responsibilities:

· Working on cloud and on-prem software solutions that contribute to developer experience and product software quality.

· Design, develop, and maintain automation tools using Python

· Manage CI/CD pipelines

· Delivering well tested high quality solutions that minimize your time spent on operational responsibilities.

· Challenging our organization, to maintain a healthy balance between state-of-the-art technology, security, performance, and stability.

Requirements:

· Software Engineer or DevOps engineer (4+)

· Experience with implementing and/or supporting projects, alone or in a team;

· Experience with various Linux distro's and Windows in a hybrid cloud-environment;

· Experience with developing scripts that can realize automated deployments (Python, PowerShell, Bash, HCL, JSON);

· Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Automation DevOps tooling (Terraform, ARM, Packer, CI/CD);

· Good knowledge of version control systems (GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket);

· Good knowledge of security in general (Azure Security Center, EDR solutions, OS hardening);

· Knowledge of containerization (Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless);

. Experience in applying software design patterns

. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP is preferred, but experience with developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms using and is a must)

· Proficient in the English language (written and oral)
